Bloodshot Bill is a one-man band from Quebec, Canada. No computers, no overdubs, just his guitar with a kick drum and a hi-hat. In 2020 he was the winner of “Ameripolitan Rockabilly Male Of The Year”. Bloodshot Bill is “like Roy Orbison with a head injury,” says director John Waters. He has released a lot of music in the last 20 years (Norton, Goner, Squoodge etc), and was ranked #8 on Vintage Rock Magazine's Top 10 Rock Guitarists.
Gerard Van Herk was founder and frontman of the legendary duo Deja Voodoo from Montreal in Canada, who released many records since 1981 on Midnight Records and What Wave, among others. They were pioneers in Canada for creating their own music genre, Sludgeabilly... that is Trash Rock’n’Roll. In 2024 the 2 musicians met
and recorded these 4 songs “Shot of Blood” and “Crawl” by Bloodshot Bill as well as “she said no” and “shish taouk” by Gerard Van Herk. The tracks got lost and a crappy mp3 was found,  and Matt from the Outside Inside Studios tried his best to restore the sound … here’s the result.
