Reverend Beat-Man and Milan Slick met in 2020, amid the pandemic, while writing a soundtrack for Ana Lily Amirpour's vampire film "A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night." They played in Paris at the renowned Super Sonic Records and at the legendary SO36 in Berlin. They then recorded an album with Beatrice Graf and Benjamin Glaus called "Reverend Beat-Man and the Underground." They produced this as part of the Rocklette PALP Festival, a soundtrack and a macabre dance party for the downfall of humanity. A one-man band, super primitive rock 'n' roll trash, hi-energy, lo-fi. Reverend Beat-Man met the sophisticated, clever, playful, and dark Milan Slick and from March 4th to 6th, 2025, they recorded their first full length studio album in the former „Züri West“ studio with Sebastian Zwahlen and the unique Robert Butler (Miracle Workers).
Reverend Beat-Man
is actually a one man band on a mission for blues trash and wild wild rock'n'roll Born in 1967 in Bern, Switzerland, in the summer of love and hate, on tour since 1992 first as Lightning Beat-Man then as Reverend Beat-Man one man band and with his band the Monsters, he played all over Europe, N + S America, Japan, Vietnam, New Zealand, Australia, Africa, CBGBs, Montreux Jazz, Muddy Roots etc. is the founder of Voodoo Rhythm Records (1992) If he were a politician, even his enemies would respect him (the federal government)
He was nominated for the Swiss Music Prize in 2014 won the local music price as Most influential Musician in Bern (capital town of switzerland) and runs a record and curios shop in Bern.
Milan Slick Singer-songwriter Milan Slick (born 2004) is still at the very beginning of his career, but has already worked with renowned artists such as Mario Batkovic or Birdman Jäggi. or his Own Band Fatigues In his music you can hear influences from Nick Cave to David Bowie, among others, but also that there is an idiosyncratic young voice emerging that we will hopefully hear a lot more of in the future.

Eine Ein-Mann-Band super primitive Rock 'n' Roll-Trash, Hi-Energy, Lo-Fi. Reverend Beat-Man traf den kultivierten, cleveren, verspielten und düsteren Milan Slick. vom 4. bis 6. März 2025 spielten sie im Ehemaligen Züri West’ Studio ihr erstes gemeinsames Studio Album ein mit Sebastian Zwahlen und dem einzigartigen Robert Butler (Miracle Workers).

Ist eigentlich eine Ein-Mann-Band mit einer Mission: Blues-Trash und wilden Rock'n'Roll. Geboren 1967 in Bern, Schweiz, im Sommer der Liebe und des Hasses, ist er seit 1992 auf Tour, zuerst als Lightning Beat-Man, dann als Reverend Beat-Man One-Man-Band und mit seiner Band The Monsters. Er spielte in ganz Europa, Nord- und Südamerika, Japan, Vietnam, Neuseeland, Australien, Afrika, CBGBs, Montreux Jazz, Muddy Roots usw. Er ist der Gründer von Voodoo Rhythm Records (1992). Wäre er Politiker, würden ihn sogar seine Feinde respektieren (die Bundesregierung). Er wurde 2014 für den Schweizer Musikpreis nominiert, gewann den lokalen Musikpreis als einflussreichster Musiker in Bern (Hauptstadt der Schweiz) und betreibt dort einen Platten- und Souvenirladen.
Milan Slick Der Singer-Songwriter Milan Slick (Jahrgang 2004) steht noch ganz am Anfang seiner Karriere, hat aber bereits mit namhaften Künstlern wie Mario Batkovic oder Birdman Jäggi oder seiner eigenen Band Fatigues zusammengearbeitet. In seiner Musik sind Einflüsse von u.a. Nick Cave bis David Bowie zu hören, aber auch, dass sich eine eigenwillige junge Stimme herauskristallisiert, von der wir in Zukunft hoffentlich noch viel hören werden.
